Classical Dressage a la Francaise!

Join us at The Equine Inn

for a weekend of

Classical Dressage instruction with

Pierre Cousyn

October 17, 2009

Pierre Cousyn is a graduate of the National Equitation School in Saumur, France, home of the prestigious Cadre Noir.  He holds degrees in both Moniteur and Instructeur (an Instructor diploma in which a graduate prepares professionals) and has successfully competed in France, Germany & Switzerland.  He specializes in Dressage training and teaching, from beginner to Grand Prix, emphasizing lightness and harmony with the horse.

As an introduction to Pierre and his style of teaching and training, The Equine Inn will be hosting a one day clinic for him on Saturday, 17 October.  The cost for one 45 minute session is $125.  Auditors are encouraged and welcome for the small fee of $20. Stalls are available for $25 per day, or $45 for the weekend, haul-in for $20.  Lunch will be provided on site Saturday for $15.

Come and welcome this breath of fresh air to our community and enjoy the experience of learning from a Classical instructor.

Tom Reed, principal trainer for Medieval Times, is offering on-going individual instruction here at the Equine Inn.  We are focused on dressage, with emphasis on riding Iberian horses, but any and all are welcome, riding/training at any level.  The first ride time is at 8:00 a.m. and last ride time is at 2:00 p.m.  Limited stalls are available, nice paddocks available in good weather.  Bring your own lunch, something cushy to sit on, and perhaps a windbreaker in cooler weather.

So far, everyone who has taken a lesson has been so pleased that she has said to keep her name on the list for the next clinic. Come join us for a day and find out why.
